Job Description and Required Skills
Job Title: Apprentice Chef Co-op
Job Description: This job will entail doing a variety of different jobs in all sections in the kitchen. Student will spend time in our dessert section where he/she will learn the skills required to make freshly baked breads, petit fours and made-to-order desserts. Our restaurant is renowned for our use of artisan produce and the student will be introduced to the very best of Irish ingredients, which we source carefully and on a strictly seasonal basis. It is a busy, professional kitchen and will provide a great opportunity for the apprentice to learn new skills and be inspired to continue on their culinary path.
Required Job Skills: It will be necessary to have:
- Good knife skills – to include butchery and fish preparation – and these will be improved on during your co-op
- Attention to detail, motivation and ambition
- Ability to work well as part of a bigger team, but also have the ability to work independently for periods of time

Financial Award: Eligible students will be automatically considered for a financial award from Steinbright Career Development Center.
