Tuoda Education (Touchdown!) is an 8 year-old Beijing-based boutique consulting firm that specializes in career coaching, education consulting, and job placement for Chinese students. We help clients determine their career aspirations, attend graduate business programs at leading US, Canadian, and UK universities, and find jobs after graduation. Job Description and Required Skills

Job Title: Consultant Assistant Co-op

Job Description:
  • Assist consultants in exploring client backgrounds, develop application strategies and time plans for clients applying to top business master programs around the world.
  • Compose and edit application materials.
  • Assist consultants in selecting the most suitable programs for clients based on their specific needs.
  • Guide clients through the entire application process and address their questions in a timely manner.
  • Conduct research on programs, schools, companies, and industries to build comprehensive knowledge base to assist clients.
  • Demonstrate strong sense of client service and maintain good client relations
  • Some clients include: Yale, Harvard, and Washington University
  • Excellent English writing skills
  • Outstanding information-collecting and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, considerate and attentive to clients' needs
  • Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills
  • Interest in application consulting industry

Number of Positions: 3

Hours Per Week: 40

Language requirement: Intermediate level or fluency in Chinese is required

GPA Requirement: Minimum 2.8 GPA

Compensation: 100 RMBs/day (about $16/day)

Financial Award: Eligible students will be considered for a financial award from Steinbright Career Development Center. U.S. Citizens are eligible for $10,000 in funding from the Freeman Foundation and Steinbright.

Housing: Company will assist students in finding suitable housing arrangements
