Job Description and Required Skills

Job Title: Buying Co-op

Job Description: : We are looking for a buying co-op who will be required to follow trends, go to trade shows, attend meetings, manage supplier relationships and constantly bring new and exciting brands to the site.

The placement will include:

  • Buying (mens, womens, kids and home)
  • Searching new brands
  • Collaborating with suppliers on a daily basis
  • Creative duties
  • Uploading products to the site
  • Price comparisons internationally
  • Assisting Founder and Director

Required Job Skills: The right individual for this role doesn't need specific qualifications as much as they need tenacity, ambition, a desire to develop and grow the brand, and a genuine love for fashion. The right candidate will also possess timekeeping skills, the ability to meet deadlines, wonderful writing and reading skills, good grammatical understanding and love for the fashion world, a desire to be influential and a positive 'can do' attitude.

Number of Positions: 1

GPA Requirement: Minimum 2.5 GPA

Language Requirements: N/A

Compensation: Local transportation expenses covered

Financial Award: Eligible students will be considered for a financial award from the Steinbright Career Development Center.

Housing: Recommendations provided

Visa Requirement: Visa may be required – Steinbright will provide information on acquiring a visa.
