Congratulations on your decision to pursue an international co-op! This is a two part application process. By clicking “Apply Now” you will create an International Co-op Application which will be reviewed by an International Co-op team member. If your application meets the preliminary requirements, you will be prompted to schedule a consultation meeting. After this consultation meeting is complete, if your application is approved, you will begin Part 2 of the application process where you will be able to apply to specific programs.

Job Description and Required Skills

Job Title: M&A Strategy Services Co-op

Job Description: Assist with the preparation and delivery of sections of assignments. Be involved in research using basic and advanced research tools. Gather key information through interviews, management discussions and site visits. Correctly and efficiently analyze data and summarize key findings. Build market or financial models and perform analysis. Write concise reports in English or Chinese, with sound business recommendations. Contribute to team discussions. There will be occasional short period travels for project needs

Required Job Skills: Must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Chinese Citizen
  • Pre-junior or junior
  • Native Mandarin speaker, good writing skills in Chinese
  • Outstanding academic performance
  • Strong analytical capability with logical thinking and good numeric skills
  • Good commercial acumen and business sense
  • Solid English ability in terms of both writing and speaking
  • A team player with proactive and professional attitude
  • Willing to solve challenges and work under pressure

Number of Positions: 2-3

Majors: Economics, Finance, Accounting, all Business

GPA Requirement: Minimum 3.0 GPA

Language Requirements: Chinese (native Mandarin speaker) and English

Compensation: 100 RMB/day (about $16/day or $80/week)

Financial Award: Students will be considered for a financial award from Steinbright

Housing: Deloitte will offer some assistance in identifying housing

Visa Requirement: MUST be a Chinese citizen.
