Job Title: Human Factors Designer (Shanghai)
Job Description: Human Factors (HF) is the scientific application of knowledge about the capacities and limitations of users with the aim of making products, systems, services and environments safe, efficient and easy to use. HF team consists of dedicated professionals with significant field experience overlaid on advanced degrees. Conduct human factors and ergonomics research, apply the knowledge into Honeywell product design and services to improve product performance, user interaction, satisfaction, health, quality of life, well- being, etc. Provide consultation to various Honeywell Business Units to improve their products so that the end users can use them easily, intuitively, effectively, and efficiently. As a HF designer, you will be part of the HF team to do user interface and interaction design.
- Create user friendly designs for graphics, user interface or digital content
- Support HF experts in conducting human factors research/design, apply user-centered design, and perform UI design and usability studies
- US Citizenship
- Expected to be a creative thinker, tech fashion hunter, Apple/Google/Sony fans, etc.
- Good team player to cooperate with designers/engineers to observe and analyze interaction and technical studies design research
- Experience in consumer products is a plus
- Effective presentation / research skills
- Experienced in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Azure /Flash is a plus
- students minoring in Human Factors are encouraged to apply

GPA Requirement: Minimum 2.5 GPA
Compensation: CNY 6,500/month before taxes(about $1000/month)
Financial Award: Students will be considered and eligible for a financial award of up to $6,000 from Steinbright Career Development Center.
