Congratulations on your decision to pursue an international co-op! This is a two part application process. If your application meets the preliminary requirements, you will be prompted to schedule a consultation meeting. After this consultation meeting is complete, if your application is approved, you will begin Part 2 of the application process where you will be able to apply to specific programs.

Mariposario Montezuma Gardens
Program Description:
Mariposario Montezuma Gardens is a small full service bed and breakfast, that specializes in a family atmosphere with the intent to allow guests to enjoy and explore the nature and diversity that the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica has to offer. We are also a working butterfly farm and garden and offer informational tours of our grounds to educate visitors to various relationships in the local ecosystem.
Job Description and Required Skills
Job Title: Guest Services Receptionist
Job Description: : Both morning and evening positions are available. Primary responsibilities are guest relations, front of house duties, check-ins, drink and ticket sales to butterfly garden.
Required Job Skills: General customer service skills, some data entry, and interpersonal communications with a wide background of cultures.
Number of Positions: 2 openings
GPA Requirement: 2.5
Language Requirements: Some Spanish background required, basic conversation preferred.
Compensation: A shared room with full board is provided. We will arrange for comp tours with local tour companies (snorkeling, ziplining, etc) to provide familiarity with local attractions. Will receive 50% of commissions paid for tour bookings with guests.
Financial Award: Student will be considered for a financial award from Steinbright Career Development Center once accepted and paperwork submitted.
